La Vallée des Couleurs Nature Park, located at Chamouny in the Southern part of Mauritius, is a widespread area of 450 acres. With green surroundings, the place also boasts a spectacular geological formation, as it is home to 23 Coloured Earths. Classified as a Nature Park, it is fully dedicated to the protection of native fauna and flora. Lots of animals (Deers, Monkeys, Tortoises, Fish), endemic local birds (Paille en Queue, Pink Pigeon, Cateau Vert) as well as many indigenous plants and trees can be found around the park. Visitors can also enjoy the numerous activities available there, as the place is also a wide and memorable playground.
